What are our hours of operation?
Growing Grove Academy operates from 7am-6pm and encourages drop-off between 7am-8am.
What is your child-to-teacher ratio?
Following Pennsylvania state guidelines, Growing Grove Academy maintains and in some cases exceeds the following ratios:
- Infants:1 teacher for every 4 infants
- Young Toddlers: 1 teacher for every 5 toddlers
- Older Toddlers : 1 teacher for every 6 toddlers
- Preschoolers: 1 teacher for every 10 children
- Prekindergarteners: 1 teacher for every 10 children
These ratios are designed to ensure that children receive appropriate supervision and attention for their developmental needs.

What procedures do you have in place for emergencies?
At Growing Grove Academy, we prioritize the safety and well-being of all children. We have a comprehensive Emergency Operations Plan that outlines our procedures for various emergency situations, including fire, severe weather, medical emergencies, and security threats. Our staff is trained regularly in emergency protocols, including evacuation, shelter-in-place, and lockdown procedures.
In case of an emergency, we:
- Evacuate to pre-designated safe areas or relocate to a nearby facility if necessary.
- Communicate with parents immediately through phone, text, or email to keep them informed.
- Maintain emergency supplies such as first aid kits, water, and other necessities.
- Collaborate with local authorities for swift emergency response.
All staff members are trained in first-aid and CPR, and we conduct regular drills to ensure readiness. We are committed to ensuring that all children remain safe and cared for in any situation.

Do you offer Military, Law Enforcement, and First-Responder discount?
Yes! We’re committed to supporting the men and women who have served and continue to serve. To say thank you, we are proud to offer a 10% discount to veterans, active-duty military members, law enforcement personnel, and first responders.
Do you accept any subsidies, grants, or financial assistance?
What is your payment schedule, and how do I make payments?
We offer payment options, including monthly payment schedules. Payments can be made via direct bank transfer, credit card, or through our parent portal, Brightwheel. Details on how to set up your preferred payment method will be provided during enrollment.
Do you follow a set schedule or holiday calendar?
Yes, we follow a set schedule for daily activities that includes learning time, play, meals, and rest. Our holiday calendar aligns with major public holidays and scheduled closures. A copy of the holiday calendar will be shared with parents at the start of each year and is also available on our parent portal.
